Washington DC, Philadelphia, Rochester NY, and
Charleston SC before moving to the small town of
Poulsbo WA near Seattle. I am married and enjoy a
high-energy family life with 6 and 8 year old sons.
At age 20 I achieved my first WIG* by sailing
around the world on a 56-foot wooden schooner. I
graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in
History. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology
from American University. Other sources of
learning include extensive reading, children, yoga,
and the many friends, fellow travelers and clients
who have shared their journeys with me over the
years.
